What information does Double Counter collect?
When you click a verification link, Double Counter collects the following PII: your IP address. It is then associated with your Discord ID (not usernames) in our database. No other PII is asked, collected or recorded. IP address is the only PII data stored, that allows for personal identification. User-agents are collected only for manual inspection in case of alt-flagging dispute, to differentiate two devices anonymously. User-agents are only temporarily cached and then automatically deleted by the bot.
Collecting the IP address enables our system to automatically compare it to other accounts to serve the bot purpose: detecting alternate accounts. No human will ever see this data, it is encrypted and automatically processed by our software.
Additionally, the Double Counter web portal adds a cookie to your web browser to associate your web browser with your Discord account.

Right to access your data or delete it
Access your data
You can contact us on our Discord support server at anytime to request your data. You will need to open a "Something Else" ticket and use the /privacy
command, then select the button labeled Receive my data
. Using this method, the PII that has been collected will be instantly sent to the email address of your choosing.
In case you need it, you can also contact support at gdpr@doublecounter.gg. Within a few days, we will get back to you with a report of all data we have on you (actually, your IP address). We are committed to deliver this data within 7 (seven) days following your request.
Delete your data
You can also request data deletion. We will automatically (and without looking at that data) erase it permanently from all our databases. To do this, visit our Double Counter Community server, open a "Something Else" ticket, and request a data deletion. Upon confirmation from a member of staff, you will be presented with key information regarding your request. The removal of your PII may take up to 30 days from the initial time the request was placed, per GDPR. The only data that will be deleted by the bot is your PII, specifically your IP address. No other data collected by the bot is considered to be PII, and thus will not be removed from the database.
